A careful approach to personal data.
Last updated August 2026 · Phase 1
BookuDATA collects only the information needed to operate accounts, member onboarding, directory review, and support. Directory records are designed to be public and source-aware; account and submission data are associated with the authenticated member who created them.
What we use
We use account identifiers to authenticate members, application notes to review Founding Member requests, and correction notes to investigate changes to directory records. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and choices
You can request access, correction, or deletion of account-linked information by contacting the BookuDATA team. Public institution records may remain available when they are necessary for directory integrity, while personal submissions remain bounded by account permissions.
Third-party services
Authentication is provided by BookuDATA's own secure sign-in. External institution links open on their own domains and are governed by those organizations’ policies.
